Hello everyone it’s living online here For Server Pro and today I’ll be showing You how to set up nginx for website Hosting on your server Firstly you want to head over to the Server.pro website here you want to make Sure you create a VPS server it’s Crucial that you have a VPS server Otherwise you won’t be able to follow The next few steps if you’re not sure on How to do that we have a video on how to Purchase one so just click the i in the Top right however if you already have One simply open up its control panel Afterwards click on the create a service Tab on the left all you have to do here Is click the service button to open up a Drop down list from this list scroll Down to the very bottom and select the Nginx preset customization doesn’t stop Here as there’s an nginx version option As well as a configuration option when You’re done tweaking it to your needs You can press install at the bottom all You have to do now is wait for the Service to finish setting up When the service is fully booted up you Can click on it and head into the files Tab if you open the public filter you’ll Not be able to manage your website files You’ll be required to create an Index.html file that will be loaded by Default when you visit your website Once you’ve done that you can head to
Your server dashboard from here copy the VPS hostname to connect to the website You can also use your own domain name Here we have a video showing you how to Do this so if you want to see that the Link will be in the description then you Can open a new tab and in the URL bar Paste the VPS hostname you can then Press enter to be able to view your Website additionally if you head back to Your service enter the files tab and Open your public folder again here you Can create or drag and drop as many Files as you wish when you’re done Customizing to your liking simply switch Back to the website tab and refresh to See the changes Well that’s it for this video if you Have any questions make sure to leave Them down below and if you want to see More from my channel make sure to Subscribe thank you for watching
